There is a good news for sports person (Male & Female) who would like to join the Indian Army as Direct Entry Havildar and Naib Subedar. The Indian Army has released Recruitment Notification and invites applications from Interested candidates for Indian Army Sports Quota Entry Intake 02/2024 Recruitment 2024. All interested Candidates who has completed required eligibility criteria can apply for these posts. All unmarried Indian male and female candidates for Recruitment Trials of Outstanding sportsperson who have participated at International/ Junior or Senior National Championship/ Khelo India Games/ Youth Games from 01 Oct 2022 to 30 Sep 2024 can Apply. Candidates from all parts of the country will be eligible to apply. Name of The Post:- Direct Entry Havildar and Naib Subedar

Educational Eligibility:- (i). Interested Candidates should have Passed 10th (matriculation) From A Recognized Board/University in India.

Physical Requirement:- 1. Height:- (i) Male Candidates

(ii) Minimum Height for Female is 162 cms. (There is 4 cm Relaxation given to the Candidates belonging to Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya and Assam, Gorkhas, Ladakhis & Garhwali) 

2. Chest:- The candidates should be capable of chest expansion of 05 cms (Male).
3. Running:- 1.6 Km in 05 Minutes and 45 Seconds for Male & 1.6 Km in 8:00 Minutes for Female Candidates.

Age Limit:- Interested Candidates should have completed 17 ½ on the first day of enrolment and must have not crossed 25 yrs on the last day of enrolment. OR born between 01 October 1999 to 30 September 2006.

Selection Criteria:- Deserving candidates would be called to appear for trials at designated Army Centers. The candidates qualifying physical fitness test, physical Standards test and skill test will undergo medical examination at trials site itself. The offer of enrolment will be forwarded to the selected candidates only, which will be strictly determined by requirement in particular sports disciplines and availability of vacancies. Request for change of venue of selection trials will not be entertained.

How to Apply:- Candidates are advised to take the print of the application form on A4 size paper only as per the prescribed format given at the end of the advertisement OR Direct Link. Non-standard application forms will be rejected. The application form completed in all respect (signature, thumb impression & affixing photograph alongwith educational and sports achievement documents) are to be submitted on the official address of Army Sports Control Board. Repetition of dak from individual’s address or re-submission of same documents through different address is liable to be rejected. Incomplete application will not be accepted.
